Title: 'Game of Thrones' the Movie?!
Post by: MetalDog on March 23, 2014, 05:28:15 PM
I am stoked for the upcoming premier of Season 4 of 'Game of Thrones,' and saw this link at Yahoo: http://www.fool.com/investing/general/2014/03/23/will-we-see-a-game-of-thrones-movie.aspx  It makes a good point, the wealth of material and the absolute adoration its fans have for the show would certainly lend itself to a movie or even a franchise of movies.

No, I believe the gist was that a movie, or series of movies, would be used to further advance/wrap up the franchise.  And if you go as far back as to recast Robert, how do you do any better than Ned?!

Neds ok - fine upstanding northern gent, Robert just never seemed big enough - I wanted like a 7 foot Brian blessed!

The joke in the UK being that both of those were actually northern actors as in from the north of England like what me and Bob are..... and are real men.... not your your southern softies like the lannisters or them from London!

Cut me some slack, I must work travel too much; I just haven't kept up with shows.  Just catching up with the Tudors finally, really behind.

"tha can tell a yorkshire man but tha can't tell 'im much"  ;)  I get along well enough with the northern folks living here in the South West.  I dig their accent.

from the few episodes I've caught it's great but I've never been able to get the time to start from the beginning.

Just a quick observation, if you really want to, you can break down any show in to base parts.  It's just how much it keeps your interest that matters.  Game of Thrones is really well done.  You should give it a go.

It's not just a soap opera with swords but with great T&A as well.
