It's rainy, windy and nasty out this morning. And I work outside. YIPPEE!! So, it being Friday makes the day a little more bearable. Slightly.
As for games, I'm not feeling anything at the moment, but, rest assured, there will be games. I expect some Civ IV MP at the very least. Probably some Warlock or EUIV.
It will be mostly Age of Wonders III for me this weekend.
Making History: The Great War
Age of Wonders III
Kerbal Space Program
Age of Wonders III or Making History: The Great War unlocks in a few more hours so maybe that. Although a really good friend (and fellow strategy gamer) of mine passed away on Monday very unexpectedly. He was the only person I talked to regularly about computer gaming and geeky stuff. His favorite game was Civilization 5 so I might play a game of that instead. :(
I can list whatever games I want, but I'm sure all I'll end up playing is more Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls.
Sorry for your loss bbmike. :(
More VASSAL mod work.
Gotten back into CK II so some more of that.
Heroes of Stalingrad if either of the UK chickens want a bout. ;)
Gotta build 3 new birdhouses this weekend too, Spring is finally here. :P
Maybe some World of Tanks on Xbox. Great time waster when you need to mindlessly blow shit up.
Sorry to hear of your loss bbmike.
I am done bug fidning in LnL:Heroes of Stalingrad - but I'll likely continue my campaign.
Probably F1 2013 as the Grand Prix is on this weekend
And BF4. I know I said that last weekend, but I do mean it. In fact I might do some Crysis 3 and some Max Payne to clear my hard drive of games I have played
AoW 3, of course, and depending on the feedback on Making History - The Great War I may pick that up as well.
Age of Wonders III mostly as I continue to conquer the known world and looking over Wargame Red Dragon some more. On very slow the game can be lengthy.
F1 2013 practice as I suck right now. I am at least 8 sec off pace with leader and 6 behind middle of the pack..... maybe a short career.
Quick play on Qvadriga and Banished.
Setting on my desktop as well is a return to Skyrim and FSX.
PE
Well, probably not going to be able to resist holding out, so I'll most likely be checking out Making History: The Great War (http://store.steampowered.com/app/279140/) (p.s. Grogheads has an interview up with Muzzy Lane (http://grogheads.com/?p=4203)), Warlock II and definitely be checking out the new additions to Kerbal Space Program (http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/74439-The-Grand-0-23-5-Discussion-Thread) to see if I can snag an asteroid or two.
Almost forgot, I also need to check out the new FTL: Advanced Edition.
Sorry about your buddy, bb.
I am on the verge of winnng my Shogun 2, Fall of the Samurai campaign. After that I was planning on playing Assassin's Creed - Black Flag, but I didn't realize that Making History - the Great War was on the verge of being released...
I too am sorry to hear about your friend BB. Grogs are the only Nerds I co-miserate with. Everybody else thinks I am cool ;D If they only knew. I'll be trying to make progress with Decisive Campaigns WtP- Case White but as that requires time to think and plan, and around here on weekends, that can be rare, I'll probably go with CMBN where being lucky can sometimes make-up for being stupid. My kind of game. 8)
Today is my only day off with drill over the weekend. So I am downloading Combat Mission Red Thunder and plan on playing some Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls and maybe some War Thunder Ground Forces. I still need to check out Red Dragon too.
Trey
Sorry for your loss BB.
I have a work DR test, so that means staying up late (hopefully not too late)..
Hope to continue MP games of Warlock and CMBN.
A few FSX flights of course..
Some more Silent Storm
Maybe some Rome 2
After being ill with the damn plague all week, I'm finally starting to recover enough energy to enjoy some gaming this weekend.
I picked up Age of Wonders 3 but haven't played it much yet (aforementioned plague).
May pick up Making History WWI if I'm feeling in the mood, but I've still been focusing on the ancient & classical stuff when it comes to historical gaming lately so it may wait. Great Battles Collection, HPS Ancient Warfare series, AJE/BOR, Hannibal: Rome & Carthage, and TW Rome 2 are still at the top of my play list.
I've been fighting Hannibal's battles in Great Battles Series and a Birth of Rome scenario as Pyrrhus and his Magna Graecian & Samnite allies. :D
I also have numerous tabletop games I've not even begun yet, with Sword of Rome having been set up since the end of last weekend when the vile viral curse overtook me. The Blackbeard remake is waiting next in line.
Hoping CM Red Thunder is released for everyone tonight.
Playing Qvadriga, CK2, WOFF, Panzer Battles, Graviteam Tactics, Lock N Load (Trying to overcome my dislike of the spotting system..and failing), Tigers Unleashed (testing).

Definitely some Panzer Battles PBEM, Probably some total war Rome II, probably some Combat Commander (boardgame) and maybe some CMRT.
Working all weekend with cardio surgeons.... the worse kind.... if I could it would be aow3 and ckii
Happy gaming chaps
Mostly Stalingrad Pocket II over VASSAL and maybe some Commander: The Great War.

Yes, it may be the most elegant game design I've ever seen. Of course I'm really enjoying the clunky world of tanks in Combat Commander.
There are tanks even in the earliest scenarios (immoble sherman), but I'm busy driving CharB-1s over some GermanTruppen -- not the most elegant part of an elegant game, but still interesting.
I've played a little FTL and Space Rangers today but after listening to these podcasts this week (Hardcore History: http://www.dancarlin.com//disp.php/hharchive ,episodes 50&51) I've developed a craving for some WWI. I may pull the trigger on Making History: The Great War but I'm waiting to hear a little feedback first. It won't take much though. I'm weak like that.
EUIV MP - The French conquest...I mean liberation of England continues. England can no longer challenge me. Taking the rest of their provinces depends on how much overextension I want to tolerate. Still going to take me multiple wars to take everything, since I can't generate hgih enough warscore to take their remaining 10-15 provinces.
Age of Wonders 3 - Only have 45 minutes or so played total, but I really enjoyed it. A lot better pacing then FE:LH.
Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls - Am probably going to spend most of my time with this. The +50% bonus experience this weekend should let me finish leveling my crusader to 70. Loving the new adventure mode. I don't think I'll ever go back to do story mode, unless its for achievements.
Command - Continue my MP game with Baloogan and a few others. Its just down to mopping up Baloogans surface groups with my carrier air power and USS New Jersey SAG.
Just got my third child today....wife's in the hospital with the baby and i am taking care of the other 2 at home...unfortunately sick so don't have much time to do anything but cleaning and taking care of them...happy, worried and exhausted at the same time. If i have some time, i'll play some:
- TW Battles: Shogun on my tablet.
- Armada 2526 Supernova pbem.
Congrats Anguille. Way to go man. The world needs more Grogs. Boy or girl? Or if it's like I was, they couldn't tell for sure until about 3. ;)

Congratulations!
Congrats.. Kids are the best kind of Gaming there is!!!.. Although it's really only awesome once the diaper's disappear ;-)
Awesome anguille, hope you and mrs anguille are well
Mostly CMRT when the thing finally downloads ...
And applying the update to WRD - hoping it fixes my crashes
Then install AOW III
Congrats Anguille! Another future lover of obscure games, I hope?
Damn Anguille, that's a lot of responsibility at once. Good luck!
I'll mostly be playing AoW3, can't seem to stop, but I also picked up The Great War and I'm still messing with Diablo 3.
@bbmike, sorry for your loss. Good friends are hard to find. Good friends that game are harder.
@Anguille Congrats to you and the Mrs.! I don't envy you the diapers, like Tuna said, but, every addition to the family is occasion for joy :)
Congrats on the new baby, Anguille. Happy times, indeed!
I have been stuck in my WOFF and WOT rut lately, so today I went out on a limb and grabbed Deus Ex and Hitman: Silent Assassin during the weekend GOG sale. Don't know whether I will like these types of games, but I thought for $7 total, it was worth a shot.

I'm looking forward to playing more WOFF. Took a break because I had spent a buttload of time playing it after release, and I'm hoping that the Dx9 mod/patch gets tweaked up pretty good before I return. That sim will never leave my hard drive. :-*
Congratulations in the new addition, Anguille!
bbmike, really sorry to hear about the loss of your friend.
As for gaming this weekend, maybe this time I'll finally have time to try Warhammer : Diskwars and Wiraqocha.
Electronically, I am really tempted by Age of Wonders 3. Otherwise, I'll keep playing Lego : Marvel Heroes and perhaps dive into CM:BN.

Deus Ex the original was a great game!
@bbmike...sorry to hear of your friend's passing.
It is raining today so perfect for gaming. Time to start a short campaign in ETW and put some more time into Bioshock.
Congratulations Anguille, hope mother and baby are both well.
what you playing you old tart?
^Who, me? I'm playing at decorating the new kitchen, and then playing at doing consultancy work for my old employers, and then I'm playing at porting over content from TC3 to Trainz 12 which I downloaded a few days ago.

You'll get yours Monday like the rest of us :P
Oh look, a little action game on Steam called Halo : Spartan Assault for $4.99. Hardly the greatest game in the world, but it's fun and worth that price.
Also snagged The Banner Saga and Assassin's Creed 4 on sale at GMG and GG, respectively. They're installing. :)
Some good time Warlock MP with W8 and Tuna. Looking for Kushan now for some EUIV.

Went as expected except that no Rome II happened and there was a fairly large amount of crude CMRT play.

Must be nice. After having a terrible cold all last week, I also caught the flu over this weekend after the other broke. Dis eez boosheet! :-[ Not much playtime lately.
^I blame my diseased eye. Sorry.
Damn Gus. You still got the eye-infection? You better get that checked unless you want to be able to play a pirate at Halloween this year. You need some antibiotic eye drops or ointment. Just because you got 2 eyes don't mean you can get by with just one. I always loved Beaker by the way. He's kind of like me in life. Every time something new comes along, it kicks him right in the ass.
^No worries, I was at the doctor last week. These things take time to clear up, sometimes 3-4 weeks. This is the end of week two. Been using antibiotic ointment for about 10 days.
Love Beaker. His expressions are priceless in all life situations and especially situations on these boards. His face is how I feel most of the time.
bbmike, sorry to hear about your friend's passing. My condolences.
Anguille, congrats on the birth of your son! A blessing on you and your brood. :)
Gaming-wise, I got in a little Age of Wonders 3 this past weekend, but that was pretty much it.

If it does not improve, let me know. I will enucleate free of charge.
You think maybe he got a yeast infection from looking at all that cheap porn? Glad to hear you're on the mend or I'd have to buy you a copy of "Opthamalogist Simulator" for your eye. ;D
Letting strange wimins lick his eyeball.
Enucleate could be the worst new word I've read today.
Thanks, everyone. And congratulations Anguille!
Thanks everyone...
Writing this on one of my two screens...it's a first (and a short one) while i make the transfer from my "old" XP (only 7 years) computer to my new Windows 7 computer...
Can you believe that i will be able for the first time to play Medieval Total War II?
My new desktop has i5 with 12GB Ram, Nvidia Geforce Graphic cards and 1T space... 8)
That seems perfectly synched with your schedule :)

Welcome to the now! ;D
Should be quite a leap from that old Pentium and 3Dfx card.
