If you love some apocalypse, this might be right up your alley. Stories of the end of the world from a respectable collection of authors. It looks like the stories skew old -- there are a lot of 1950's copyrights. 

I can hardly think of a better way to spend a dollar.

Update: I'm three stories in, and so far it's rather meh.

Good price! I like stories like this and it looks like some classic authors are in it. I expect to find meh and even bleh stories but there should be some good ones as well. Thanks for the heads up!

Yes, there are some good ones.  Just finished one by Gregory Benford that if not modern, is surpassingly predictive. Got totally fooled by another.

As is often the case for me with short stories, the best ones leave me wanting much more of the story. Lester Del Rey's Lucifer is one of those.
