 Hey PE...

I was re-reading part of the rulebook and actually found the rule that says you must have a soldier in the foremost location in order to place a new location card.

It's on page 15 under 'Placing A New Location':

QuoteTo play a new Location card, there must be a Soldier in the front-most Location.

I'm not going crazy after all!

Hmmm, which is it then.  Because the way I read it on page 6 under Location Action Cards, it tells you the opposite...   :crazy2:

Such a scattered rulebook.  Fortunately the rules aren't terribly steep.

A good example was given on the BGG forum, regarding the rulebook layout:

QuoteFor example: Movement is partially explained at at least 6 places:
- Location Action Cards (p6) (entrance cost)
- Player Soldier Cards (p8) (Movement)
- Non Player Soldier Cards (p9) (Movement)
- Soldier Turn, Move (p15)(That's where I actually would expect a combined and complete description of how movement is handled)
- Movement (p15)
- Completing the Objective (p18) Activating the objective card by declaring it as next Location - which in fact is a special form of a movement, I think.

Same with attacking.

I've heard people complain about LnL rulebooks, and other DVG rulebooks aren't perfect, but this one is unnecessarily scattered.  In our example, it may even be contradictory.  :(
