Can anyone tell me how to purchase a copy of Great Battles : Collectors Edition? I used to have the cd's but my later version of windows would not install them.

What do you mean by how to purchase?  Looks like available on gog so you just need to add it to your cart and purchase it.

GBCE is an excellent hex-based wargame, despite it's age. 

It is based on the tabletop system from GMT, which is pretty popular. 

The GOG version works with Win7/Vista.. not sure about Win8.  I did get an occasional crash with GB Alexander, but Hannibal and Caesar seem to be okay AFAIK.

Great game, but I haven't played it for years. I have the GBCE edition on DVD somewhere in the house, but no longer on my present PC. This was a good site for scenarios if you get it, but obviously I haven't used it for quite a while.
