Paradox signs with GOG

Yet another publisher is distributing its games on GOG. Seems to be only older Paradox Interactive games available at this point.

That's a step in the right direction. Perhaps someday all Paradox titles will be sold by GOG.
Regardless of how good a PC game may be it will always have its detractors and no matter how bad a PC game may be it will always have its fans.

I doubt it will be anytime soon for the more recent stuff, if at all.  Pdox said they didn't want to spend the time creating more than one version (Steam) when those titles were new so I don't see them ripping out all the Steam integration on the ones solely released there.

No argument here. But they could add Hearts of Iron II & III as well as other Paradox titles that were released before they went with Steam.

Hearts of Iron for 10 bucks...?  Why on earth buy it there instead of for 1/2 that at Gamersgate?   Same for Europa Universalis.   Then again, why buy either of those versions at all when the newer, better versions routinely go on sale for peanuts?
