It would seem to me that if it were a goof like sending out the wrong build then the problems would be widespread. Its either some setting on your end or some rare software glitch on theirs. It sucks when you purchase a game from a company that treats you like crap, its quite a helpless feeling.

I bought an EA game one time that they knew wasn't currently working on most systems, but they were selling it anyway and all sales were final. It was that idiotic download service they have, I forgot the name, but I have not purchased an EA game since (this was 2008). I haven't even bought DA: INQ even though the game is very appealing to me. F*ck EA.

Edit- It was only a $10 purchase... man, I hold a grudge.

I only feel compelled to say that if I am ever a game developer, I would simply refund requests like this, no questions asked.

I say that having never been in the position to refund money.  But someone who will go through the trouble of 3 tickets is probably not just trying to scam me, and it's worth the $50 or whatever to avoid having this kind of press turn up on a Google search of the game.

It just makes you wonder sometimes.  At any rate, to the OP, with no other advice, chalk it up to experience and vote with your wallet.  Certainly I will now.

Agreed.  Whatever the issue, it's a bit crap that the devs have basically just said "yeah we'll have a look at it" and then apparently done nothing.

Swatter: Good point, but it's a niche game already and how many people still need 32-bit builds?
