Mythbusters wrapping it up in January 2016

I have for the most part loved this show but I think it has run it's course. The last few seasons were too short and just had too many TV/Movie "myths". Those are fun but they get old.

And I am sorry but I miss Kari, Grant and Tory.....

Me too. When 'the kids' got sacked I stopped making an effort to watch. I can get my fill of Adam Savage through his many prop-making Youtube shows and, despite the 80's hipster beret (yea, I had one too back then) and Nietzschean 'stash, I find Jamie Hyneman mostly unenthusiastic and annoying.

I caught Adam's video where he makes an "authentic" Star Wars blaster. Very fun to watch and it pointed out to me the Grogheads aren't the only ones who get anal about their hobby.

I have the first seven or so seasons on DVD so I can still enjoy the golden years.

Oh yeah. Kari was HOT. I'll miss this show too, some of the funniest moments in TV history. But it has run it's course and each year there are fewer episodes worth watching.
