Ive dropped a load of homemade graphics apps, wargames, rpgs, arcade, all sorts of stuff on a google drive, because it seems google virus check all as you download, so could be a good place to put files, but I really could do with a simple feedback of a normal user downloading, have I got all this working right?

I tried to D/L one of the files and couldn't. Right-clicking on the files did not offer the download option for some reason. The only choice was at the top of the page and that was for a redirect to a browser app that offered to unzip the files to my google drive if I gave I some kind of permission. I declined  so I could ask you first if you had set it up that way. If so then folks who don't have google drive won't be able to access the files at all.


EDIT: I just found the D/L button on the Google drive page. Sorry I don't use it much. It's strange that right-click, download would be disabled on Google drive.

Is there a way to add a list of contents page to add links going to the individual zip files? The individual file pages themselves don't tell you what they are unless you open the files up and read the notes.

I can download them using the DL button at the top of the page. I don't have Google Drive installed locally and I wasn't logged into my Google account when I did the download. The files downloaded normally. I didn't check every link, but the 4-5 I did check worked fine.

It looks like you have it set up correctly. I downloaded a zip file for Command yesterday. It was stored on Google Drive and it worked exactly the same as your files.

Just a note, you may want to rename those links so folks have at least some idea what they are clicking on.

For example instead of: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bwg1l-y33WTRdUhHVVA2VDZ4Mjg/view?pref=2&pli=1

You could use: HexGun07.zip

thanks so much guys, I may use google for file use now it works, I don't know how your shrinking the link mirth, I know its simple but ive never done it. but I'm happy at the moment, staggerwing :) I did the same when I used it, found the top download button aswell :)

Clicked on a bunch of them, only one came up dead...Agree with mirth on changing links to names of file to make it clearer what one is looking at. :)
