Well, mine was sugared honey and his was coconut key lime.

Did you put the lime in his coconut?

I did not, but I did play a werewolf game at his kitchen table.

I wish I could bottle the squishy, happy sentiment and profound desire to eat Doritos in bed while I page through this that this link brought on.  Reading it on-line will never be the same.

Forgive my blasphemy but g&d-DAMMIT those were good times.

I have this issue...somewhere...in storage, I think...

Makes one wonder what the art show at GenCon VIII looked like...

More or less the back of somebody's Trapper Keeper.

I haven't even gotten to those pages; busy reading the essay by the Methodist minister on playing D&D (including with fellow ministers). Tolkien quotes, not unexpected; Lewis quotes, not unexpected; but bonus points for alluding to Lewis' An Experiment in Criticism.  O0 :smitten:

Ha, wow. A TRS-80 Model III was my first computer. How I toiled over it using various BASIC books to play games - hours of entering lines and sheer minutes of playability! Those were indeed the days.

Though the real big day was when I got that old bucket upgraded...added a floppy drive and doubled the RAM from 32K to 64K.  :dreamer:
