I am calling out all VBS PE owners to contact me.

Recently things have been happening and since the support is on a low side at the moment if you have issues with the software we can fix them through community support.

Also Bohemia Interactive is intrested to know how much VBS PE users still use the software please PM me how much you still use it.

Looking forward to keeping the community of owners active and going,

Regards

Don Prince

I wish I had VBS. It seems like a wonderful advanced product, but unfortunately I do not own any iteration of it.

From a gaming perspective, its overrated. From a professional training standpoint, I'm sure its a near invaluable tool.

Nope. Overrated as well.

It's not bad.  It's often over-extended by training folks who misunderstand it's utility and limitations.

It's pretty bad when the simulation is so under-optimized that simulations labs can hardly run the software. I've used VBS in three different labs, and each one was hardly able to run it - even on its lowest settings.

There is a discord set up for VBS PE owners. Bohemia interactive simulations is in that discord and is interested in what PE owners are doing with their software and if they are still active. This is only for PE owners so on me to get the link. If you are not a PE owner you won't get in.

Regardless of how good a PC game may be it will always have its detractors and no matter how bad a PC game may be it will always have its fans.

Funny when it's a Personal Edition of a Professional Software that is a derivative of a Personal (Consumer) Software.  :DD

By Bohemia encouraged PE users to move to VBS3 Academic Edition. So I think this question is to those who are still using VBS2 PE.  Is that what all this is about?

You do. If you have ARMA.

JudgeDredd

It might be Professional Edition. I took the view it was a similar business model to Steel Beasts which uses PE as Personal Edition.
