I applied for the BETA of this a long time ago iirc
Big fan of WEGO and I have at least 5 books just dedicated to galley warfare. I am fascinated by it.

  I tried to sign up-- but as so often happens I already signed up long ago and I can't use my email because I already signed up long ago etc. etc.
  But I'll play the game if it comes out and happily recall the well-done narrative (in the continuation of the Gallic Wars -- probably not by Caesar) where Julius is trapped in Alexandria and trying to control the small squadron of his Rhodian allies when they take to sea with him screaming why why come back you'll be wiped out by superior forces and the Rhodians do every possible super cool galley war move and come back winners against all the odds.

I really hope they have animated men on the deck rather than the 3D cylinders currently on board in the screenshots. Somehow I think it's too much to ask from what must be a tiny budget however.
