The Longevity of Modern Games

I think I didn't say what I was wanting to say.  I wasn't meaning games of yor were better.  What I meant was, old games are still fun today but they often look dated mainly because resolutions grew from 320x240 to 1920x1080 today.

It is much less of a visual jump to go from 1080p of today's games to future even higher resolutions, so today's games will be playable even longer.  That is, in 20 years I could possibly still be playing the games I'm playing today...and that is pretty cool
