New Build (FSX really)

I posted this on another forum, but I wanted to get any feeback from here.   I am looking to build a new FSX machine coming from an older build (couple of years ago). I was wanting to go as low as I could and this build is around $977 (Newegg) total, I would go lower if I could but not to sacrifice too much. I am looking for that sweet spot between medium and high with a lot of add-ons..... any feedback would help... Thanks in advance!

Looks good. FSX is resource hungry. You should be able to adjust the graphic settings for quality performance.

I would get a good cooler for that CPU and overclock it as much as you can because FSX is very CPU dependent. My old i7-920 is overclocked to 4 Ghz and runs FSX pretty well with everything maxed out. Only at busier airports do I get slowdowns due to the MyTraffic AI that I'm running.

I too have a 660 Ti 2 GB card, but mine is an MSI card. Very happy with the 660 Ti.

I also have the exact same case as you picked out. You'll be very happy with that as well.
