Jarhead - Yeah. You're probably right.

Gus - I use sweatpants with flannel shorts to soak up my crotch sweat.

Banzai Cat - There is no "partial credit" in grammar. Like anal sex. It's either in, or it's not.

Mirth - We learned long ago that they key isn't to outrun Star, it's to outrun Gus.

Martok - I don't know if it's possible to have an "anti-boner"...but I now have one.

Gus - Celery is vile and has no reason to exist. Like underwear on Star.

is that the Boys AT rifle? I knew it was used in the British & Commonwealth armies.  Did the US Army ever use it, or did they just use the 37mm AT gun and rifle grenades?

It's the Boys ATR. The training film is for the Canadian Army.

I have a whole collection of these films from Disney made during WWII. Interesting view on the times.

If you're amused by the Boyes Rifle.  Look up the Bates Bottle Thrower.
There used to be one on display at the Bovington Armor Museum.

Well, you have to admit that the PIAT is fundamentally a pretty bizarre piece of kit as well. If it wasn't so prominently used by Col. Frost's boys on the north end of Arnhem Bridge it would have been delegated to the weird&wacky a long time ago.
