Yeah I like the action combat too, but you're right.  The whole 10000000000000000 different kind of currency is annoying.  The reality is only two matter: zen (real money) and astral crystals (in game grind for zen).  I started another character and realized that it'd cost like 4000 zen to get large bags.  That like $40.  No way!  So I just run around on my Control Wizard who I spent all the free zen I got for a pre-purchase on bags when it came out.  This one really makes me nervous about what they are going to do with EQ Next.  I can totally see Sony following this mirco-transaction scheme.

I wasted a lot of time playing Wasteland 2 and Diablo 3. Wasteland 2 is shaping up nicely. Its definitely a beta, but I think it has the potential to be a real gem when its finished. Diablo 3 sucked up most of my time, a good 14+ hours. The new loot system is awesome, just like it was on the console. I've had no need to look in the auction house for gear. Some of the skills have been changed, but I haven't played enough to know just how many or if any class got a complete overhaul.

Spent a few hours today with both EUIV MP with Metal Dog, and the ESO beta. Nice to play a new MMO without all the F2P crap being shoved down my throat, even if it will cost me a $15 subscription.

It's the 2.0 patch removing auction house and a long list of changes in preparation for the exansion.
