I just watched a bit of the live stream, and turn resolution times looked painfully slow.  Like Pride of Nations slow. If true, that makes this a pass for me.

My impression is turn-resolution is on par with Civil War II, maybe a minute/minute-and-a-half at most.  I haven't played ProN but I understand turn-resolutions can be several minutes long, getting worse as the game proceeds.  That's not what I've seen with CW2, and don't expect to with TEAW --

EDIT -- hmm, may have to take that back -- watching the current turn resolution, it's definitely taking longer than what I've seen in CW2...

I never minded the turn times. It took me about 10 minutes to review all messages, make sure everyone is supplied, organize new units, build stuff, play cards, etc. If it took 2 minutes for a turn to process, I was ok. PRON would take 3-4 sometimes which was a bit much.

I have disliked every other WWI game, so for me it's this or nothing

Here is a clip from the matrix description. The game is huge so I would expect turn resolutions of 1-2 minutes:

"Setting: the game covers all of Europe, from the Western seaboard to the Volga, from 1914 to 1918. Middle-East is also in, as well as most of the rest of the world (as off-map boxes regions)
Game map is divided into more than 3,000 regions, with a variety of terrain, climates and development level."

I have seen any complaints about the times but several have noted it in a sort of a "cost of found business" sort of way

It's CST, so it's scheduled for 20 minutes from now but I might start a few minutes early.

Good job.. you have a great voice for streaming.. Entertaining.. definitely swayed me towards wanting to purchase.. Though wish the turns were quicker.. I was cmurphy625 in chat.  8)

Thanks for tuning in! Stream went well and honestly the turn load times probably would be useful for a stream to allow more time for interaction with the viewer rather than distracting my chain of thought in turn trying to figure out what I want to do and also keep up with the audience. Turn times seemed to be about 2-3 minutes.

Enjoyed the stream and probably will stream again either late tonight in about 12 hours or tomorrow around the same time, 12-3pm cst.
