well, there are simulator for each and everything today from Goats to drying paint
those who know me a bit know i am in pyrotechnics and firworks display of all scale  8)

while i was searching out for the price of the upcoming Warhammer40k Armageddon game by Slitherine, which release today in Steam's "Coming-Soon" area, i stumbled over this simulator to get released today also

well, there were fireworks simulator attempts in the past and they were ...to be honest:  Meh!

but this one has an official licence by the fireworks factory Weco, wellknown in Germany
and simulate its real world Class 4 products
so at least there is chance that the results are actually nice, and don't look like bonbon colors of a Japanese comic book special effect out of a anime movie  (check video @1:30 this viewpoint is spot on)

(warning soundtrack is somewhat annoying  ...should have been better classical)

let's see what they charge for it ...at least it went on my 'wait for sale' list

Would be much cooler if you could design your own fireworks....

that is what it does
you can use the pyrotechnic articles to set up/plan/compose your own fire work display

there is also a constructor where you can fill all kind of empty mortar racks with different bomb-shells (or how its called) and set the timing steps inside the cake/mortar-rack  too
(that would be like ordering your own rigged pyrotechnic article / cake in China  ...you are not limited to Weco's products)

Does it allow you to test out different chemical compositions to affect the colours, size of bang, etc?  That's really what I was asking
