The chick who plays Jones has a world-championship winning resting bitch face.

Krysten Ritter is John Ritter's daughter, right?

No

Hrmm.. must've been thinking of some other TV actor plus model wife's actress offspring then.  *shrug*

I finished off the series last week.  I quite liked it.  It has an almost noir-ish quality to it, as opposed to say, the pure action of Marvel Agents of Shield.  Jessica Jones is much more of a private eye mystery sort of show.

My wife really enjoyed it, even without knowing any of the history of the characters, which means they kind of hit the sweet spot.  I'm curious to see if they fully transition Patsy Walker to Hellcat.

The husband of one of my best friends called it "Trigger Warning: the Musical". She thought that was apt (I agree): she's interested in season two but never wants to watch the first season again.

I managed to make it through the series.  Seems like it should've ended the way it did, and we foresaw, far earlier.

Also... the last 2/3rds of the series could be summed up as the villain twit constantly pleading "JessEEEEEcuhhh!!" in a British accent.

When I refer to it, in the future, it will be the "Jess-EEEEEE-cuhhh series", in whiny tone.

I was a bit underwhelmed, especially after seeing their Daredevil series.  It didn't even seem very Noir Detective themed after the first few episodes, but instead turned into a long drawn-out stalker story for women who enjoy watching crime docs on the "murder porn" cable channels.  *shrug*
