I've always been interested in Ancient Egypt so this caught my eye when I saw it mentioned on Blue's News.  There'll be a demo in mid-March.  Have to give'em an email in the link below to get the demo (at least for now).

I have Clarus Victoria's Marble Age centring on Greek Civilisation. They did a good job with that and although simple to play, it can be quite engrossing. This Egyptian Civilisation game may be a good one to pick up. O0

I've played the demo and I can't wait for the game to come out.

Apparently you can vote for it on Greenlight in Steam.  I don't do that very often, but I did it for this one.

My first reaction when I saw the demo was 'yech, a tablet game'.  The demo sat on my desktop for a while until yesterday.  Played it four times, loved it, wanted more.  It's a little bit tablety, but it's so well done I don't mind.

Every generation gets the Greeks and Romans it deserves.

Watching the video really just made me wish the Slitherine would do an updated remake of Chariots of War.

I have it on the PC. Unfortunately, while my son and daughter both have a tablet, I don't so I can't recommend regarding tablet play. I'd be very surprised if it didn't play just fine on a tablet, but I'm speculating. Just be warned pre-civilization marble age is very simple to play, but I find it quite engrossing in its way. Some of the missions are incredibly hard to beat though.
