I guess I haven't got my fill with theme park games...purchased the early access to Parkitect, theme park business simulator.  I also purchased Planet Coaster and Roller Coaster Tycoon World as well in the last couple of months, both games also in early access....barely have touched them so far:)  But what the heck, one of them will stick with me, I think:)

This one is in alpha, but has an included sandbox mode with a bunch of rides already included.  The other games may be prettier, but this one MAY end up being the better business simulator....time will tell.  It even has some mini-logistics where you build stands (food, etc.) and you have to hire haulers to bring stock to it.

Does any of these games feature riders falling to their death?

I got it, and enjoying it so far, I like it because it seems to be directed more to Park/ business management, taking care of your staff is very important. At the same time it offers a good roller coaster builder with nice physics, I guess the riders can fall to their death as I read it long time in one of their developer dairy, but not sure if it is implemented in the game yet.
The game so far is very stable, with very minor bugs, but it only offers sandbox mod. I can say that it has very solid basis to be a great sim game.

I agree the potential is there...on the surface seems easier to setup and control things versus the other games, but time will tell...
