Afghan Taliban leader Mansour 'probably killed' in US air strike

Just saw this:

Afghan Taliban leader Mullah Akhtar Mansour has probably been killed in a US air strike, US officials say.
He and another male combatant were targeted as they rode in a vehicle in a remote area of Pakistan close to the Afghan border, the officials said.
The Pentagon has confirmed it targeted Mansour in strikes but said they were still assessing the results.
Mansour assumed the leadership in July 2015, replacing Taliban founder and spiritual head Mullah Mohammad Omar.

To little to late...

the sky should be black from drones in the whole Middle East all day. And those good news should be dropping in constantly.

and even more important: would be the drones that prey over golf curses, yachting harbors and falcon and dromedary clinics in the rich GulfStates, where super rich gentlemen terrorist financiers are enjoying their luxury lives, while their couriers delivering suitcases full of cash on secrets and scattered routs to the religious warlords of their choosing

No "probably" anymore. According to a later BBC release, "Afghanistan's spy agency has confirmed that Taliban leader Mullah Akhtar Mansour has been killed, after the US targeted him in a drone strike...."

What got me was Pakistan's rebuke of the US by infringing Pakistani airspace. Given that there is a huge terror problem in Pakistan, I was really surprised at the response. I'd have thought a "thank you, USA" was more appropriate in this case.
