Got a severe cold to nurse, plus stuff to do around the place (LOTS of stuff), so I don't know I'll be anywhere near a gaming table this weekend, or my PC. I don't get sick all that often (last time was 2+ years ago), so it's weird.

I'm going to at least ogle Captain Nemo's War and Conquest of Paradise (VPG and GMT, respectively) and hope to do some more Colonial Twilight if there is actual time to play and focus long enough.

I will probably spend time in Rise of Flight, DCS and IL2 mapping out my new Joystick. Also so more time in Project Zomboid. Happy New Year all!

Probably mostly Rome II (the 270 AD expansion), World of Warships and CLoD Blitz.

 Visiting the grandkids so will probably be limited to having the 7 year old grandson kicking my ass at Mario Kart.

Definitely more Rome II, although I've not yet decided whether to give Carthage another go or try a different faction.  Choices, choices... 

Probably some more Imperium Galactica II as well.  I couldn't say what exactly about this game makes it special, but I'm definitely remembering why I considered it to be one of my favorite 4x titles back in the day.  Would really wish they'd make a proper sequel.

Really enjoying getting beat up as the Americans in Graviteams 1943 Tunisia campaign. Shermans can take a beating and it's refreshing to see a game model the capabilities of the Sherman realistically. Short of an 88mm gun or a long 75mm on a new PZ IV, no other tank was capable of punching through the armor. It was sloped giving the Sherman superior armor protection than the PZ IV. The "short" 75mm gun was more than capable of punching through the frontal armor of 75% of the tanks the Germans had there.

PUBG is admittedly fun but damn I die quick in it.

See that corpse in underwear and a hat over there? Yup. It's me.

Still, I don't mind games like that as learning to be better is part of the fun.  RO2 was like that too for me.

Indeed, it is a very deadly game(as is RO2). I always try to parachute into a destination where I'm alone, so that I have time to gather weapons and such. I don't seem to fare too well when I parachute into the same town with 10 other people and have to face combat within 30 seconds. My best game is when I lived to be #3, and I've only had one game where I had more than one kill. It's a challenging game, for sure!

I've had this issue happen to me before but it's not necessarily Steam.

2 issues that caused problems for me were

1) DX either got corrupted or I missed an update. Got most recent update from MS site and was good to go.

2) Either a steam or a driver update wouldn't play nice with msi afterburner. Everything was CTD on startup. As soon as I turned off afterburner everything ran fine.
