Interesting.  Not to be confused with "Steam and Iron: The Russo Japanese War" by NWS which is a tactical and operational simulator that covers the RJW naval conflict (including Port Arthur ) in detail. However,  while the NWS games graphics are very functional they are not 3D as this new game appears to be.

I wonder whether A.I. Was asked by the dev to find a name in english and simply matched another similar games name with this one.

Actually if you check their facebook, you'll see the chaps (or the chap?) have been hard at work for a number of years already, and it's gone through some iterations.

I initially honestly thought it was a spin off from the (courageous!) Totem team but really it isn't from what I can see. Much thought went in to the interface & all. Pretty excited going through the contents tbh.

As for the name, well, yeah there might be an issue there depending on how NWS has protected Steam & Iron. But this is a pretty niche place to be, and there's hardly many people around left to mistake one for another. I'd expect RtW to have fully overtaken Steam & Iron as the forefront product of the team. Hope nobody gets mad or hurt, I am sure they can find a way to co-exist, especially if it requires a small name tweak ^^

At any rate much potential there IMHO.
