I guess it's time to close the embassy.

QuoteSudan has rejected an offer by the United States to send Marines to increase security at the U.S. embassy in Khartoum, amid protesters and police clashing.

Because we can totally trust that statement....

Pull all aid.  To include food and medicine.  They want to believe we are evil then pull everything; they'll either figure it out or won't.

Staggerwing

Send the aid to South Sudan instead. Considering all the brouhaha after the mostly Christian/Animist South gained independence the Muslim North will go apes**t!

Why is it up to them?  The embassy is sovereign US territory.  We could park a god damn MEU there if we wanted, and if we had leadership with a backbone.

That was always my understanding.

I suspect it's because the surrounding air and land are Sudanese.  They are not allowed to cross from internation air/water through Sudan into an Embassy.

Send a diplomatic pouch wrapped around a C-130.

...or your embassys will look like that.

the mob in Sudan assaulted the empty building and vandalized it
(more Reuters pictures: http://www.n-tv.de/mediathek/bilderserien/politik/Mob-im-Sudan-stuermt-deutsche-Botschaft-article7227111.html) ...we don't even showed that movie yet (its crap anyway. i prefer a real documentary! ...and cartoons) but there was a little crack-down on Salafists here some time ago. (i reported in some thread here)

so what could be done.?

first we should clear in front of our door mats!

1. force your governments to outrule Salafism, Wahabism, etc.  in your country, status of religion has to be  revoked and members get treated as criminal-organization or political-terrorist-group members and expelled from all western countries if they don't have citizenship-status ASAP

2. don't visit any Muslim country as a tourist.
there are other beaches on the globe to take a sun-bath and sip on a drink... even so it will cost you a few Euros or Dollars more.... its worth it!

3. don't buy goods from any Muslim country (its a little bit hard to realize with gas, cotton products?, some fruits?)

4. don't do any biz with a suspected 'traditional Muslim' individual neither as customer nor as vendor
no shirt no shoes = no service  so in addition headscarf (and worse) = no service
'westernized Muslim' individuals should be treated extra friendly ...to make a point!

5. give traditional Muslims 'the look' (would kill you on the spot, but we are not in the medieval like you Prophet whore S.o.B.)  when you pass them -in the Mal for exampl- to let them feel the love.

Jarhead - Yeah. You're probably right.

Gus - I use sweatpants with flannel shorts to soak up my crotch sweat.

Banzai Cat - There is no "partial credit" in grammar. Like anal sex. It's either in, or it's not.

Mirth - We learned long ago that they key isn't to outrun Star, it's to outrun Gus.

Martok - I don't know if it's possible to have an "anti-boner"...but I now have one.

Gus - Celery is vile and has no reason to exist. Like underwear on Star.

ahem..... AC-130

... evacuate the critical embassies , and place 0.5 kt rucksack-nukes from the cold-war times in the cellars, which blow-up when the cellar-door get disturbed... and tell the world press later: that the mob ignored warning signs in local language plus voice recorded messages played at them in that room  and tampered with security-device which was installed to secure extra-sensitive cryptic-hardware-equipment conreted into those buildings wall that could not be un-installed in the short time frame of the evacuation...because the Marines (experts) were not allowed in  ;D
(...dont tell that a bundle of M14 TGs would have been enuf for melting some circuits ;))

It was a rhetorical question.

^On that note, we should send the Marines in anyway.
