You'd think ARMA would attract a more mature crowd, but then again its the internet. It's a cesspool.

Care to be more specific?  I happen to agree with you but I'm wondering what led you to
that conclusion.

Well what set me off is that there is such a lack of compassion for a noob when I was asking questions on how to do certain things in the game.  I got the vibe that because they considered me a noob that I didn't deserve to be enlightened on how to play this game.  In a moment of weakness I raged quit.  Then when one asks a modder on how to perform certain actions advertised by their mod one gets nothing but crickets of silence. 

What were some of the reasons that make you feel the same way?


Jarhead you're right the internet is a cesspool even in a game as mature as ARMA.  I'll admit I've let these riff raffs spoil my desire to play the game, even in single player mode.

That's all on you bro. I would encourage you to not let others ruin what would otherwise be an enjoyable gaming experience for you. This is why I insist on a reasonably good single player option in all of my games. I never want to be dependent on random people for a good experience.

ARMA 3 is a sensational game. Despite all these years, there is still nothing else out there that does what it does quite as good. Go find yourself some really good dynamic or even scripted single player missions. There are literally thousands of them out there.

Also, find mature multiplayers. You've got friendly Grogs in various places to petition!  It has been a REALLY long time since I played this system (like back in the original Flashpoint campaign), but I'm more-or-less up to date on the programs themselves (minus this one yet).

Pretty much the same thing.  Total lack of respect for new players.  I finally threw in the towel and limited myself to some of the (very good!) single player random missions. 
Never went back to co-op.

Sounds like I need to browse the workshop for some single player missions.
