Apparently right now their are more players in star wars battlefront 2 (the newer one) because of a community movement to try to get a new version of the game. I heard 25,000 players, more than it had at release. Plus it's only a few dollars at the moment.
Good luck to them. Still need an origin account to login.

Folks are saying the popularity of Andor also has helped.

This is not surprising, since I recently started watching Andor myself and suddenly had the urge to boot up Battlefront 2!

Empire at war needs a remake badly.  The 2025 version(hypothetical) should take a note from gates of hell rts and allow you to fps control any unit on the map.

There are some really kickass mods for Empire at War. Several turn it into practically a new game.
