Hey folks,

Apologize, it's been a long time since I last posted here — life, work, and a never-ending to-do list of bugs tend to get in the way. I've been working on Full Metal Sergeant 2, the sequel to a small indie game I released a while back.

The concept is still the same: you're the drill instructor running a military boot camp, turning civilians into soldiers, making hard calls, and eventually sending your squad into combat. But this time, everything's bigger—more mechanics, a Vietnam-era setting, and actual tactical missions on the field.

I've also added a bunch more camp events and narrative encounters to keep things fresh between missions, and the skill tree is now way deeper—offering more meaningful choices when shaping your recruits.

Anyway, I'm still in the thick of development, polishing, balancing, rethinking things I was sure of six months ago. If anyone here has thoughts on mission pacing, downtime mechanics, or just wants to swap stories about designing military-themed games—I'm all ears.

Excellent! Welcome back and good luck on the project.

Happy to lend my "technical" advice again, if you need it.

Jarhead0331! My friend.

You are still in the sequel, I've made a special character named like you, but deeper than the previous chapter. You are the camp officer who occasionally comes with requests. Depending on the answers you give, after a while you will be recruitable

Of course...MOS 0331 by default.
