Ever since I bought MSFS 2020 during the Steam summer sale, I've been obsessed with it. 298 hours so far. After playing FSX for many years, I finally made the move to MSFS.

Also playing Mafia III Definite Edition.

Trying out Motorsport Manager which I bought a few years ago and never got into, but after building two of the Lego Speed Champions F1 cars (which are excellent!), I feel the need to get into this game.

You're going to have to write a review that compares Panzer Elite and Tank Squad AND possibly sherman commander. Most youtube reviewers are scared to do this because they either get sponsored or don't want the review copies to dry up. Additionally they are just too afraid to give honest constructive criticism. Leaving us chumps to try to read between the lines.  Part of the reason I come here is because I know the personalities that will give honest opinions and have the experience that qualifies them to do so.

For me:
Age of Empires IV - I still love their soldier models. Have been playing coop with randoms lately on hard. I know I can play against harder but really have to get my act together to do that. Had a really good coop game today with a guy who chatted a lot. Nice to see some interaction. Love that community vibe.


Tank Squad - Played it coop with a mate this week and we had a blast.
My tank blew up while I had jumped out to find what was shooting at us. Hidden AT guns.


Dawn of War Definitive Edition - WHat a great game this is still. Bloody spectacular.
Company of Heroes 3 - still chomping on those nightfighter skins. I play coop with randoms when friends are not around to get my challenges done. Last coop I did their was a super toxic guy which is always fun. He wanted me to cover a bit more ground on my side and I said "sure, sorry", well he took my apology and ran with it as a sign I had done something wrong when I was just being polite.. meaning I was sorry I did not fit perfectly into his plans as a mindreader supreme and happy to help, rather than sorry I did something wrong. Company of Heroes stresses people out, it's always been that way, but COH3 A.I. tends to focus at one "schwerepunkt" and if their are three A.I. players against you, they will focus on one player until they break. Most of the time humans can deal with this using defensive weapons like machine guns which suppress the enemy across a front line. But it is not easy and the A.I. can overwhelm each player in turn early. Especially on some maps where mutual support early is hard. People then like to blame others. I was a bit taken aback because I am used to players who either push too far forward, get wiped out exposing an entire flank in their section or people simply fortifying their corner and going AFK. Leaving the others to fend for themselves. Oh BTW, we won the game in the end!!! It was just hard.



Holdfast Still a lot of fun and full servers in the US and Europe most of the time. The Aussie servers though are struggling again since the devs forgot to bring our official server back up for 24hrs. The population just assumed the server had been taken offline permanently like last time and went to other games. The local clan private server line battles though have 200 people servers full with a tonne of reserves. So their are people that play it still.

Alien Fireteam Elite Finishing this with a couple of friends as my holidays finish up

Perhaps some space marine 2 coop campaign if we manage to finish Alien Fireteam Elite.
Maybe some sins2.

I get your point that youtubers might give overly-favourable reviews, but I still think it's valuable to see a new game "in action" as opposed to just reading about it - however trustworthy the writer is.

You are correct. You can see a lot of things in videos amd get a general idea of things. But by the same token you are shown an edited video.
