Found this monograph on the destroyers work off Omaha Beach.  Something that rarely is given much attention.
For those who have an interest in things naval, the Online Library at this site has an amazing number of interesting articles.

Thanks for sharing.  Its nice to see some information on the less well know parts of D-Day
