Sir Slash

I haven't played CK 2 but I know many of you have and love it. So I was wondering what the opinions are of the new DLC "Sunset Invasion" where the Aztecs invade Europe, being something so completely ahistorical. Will this make for a more exciting game or just an attempt to grab some cash from everyone. It's on steam by the way.
"Take a look at that". Sgt. Wilkerson-- CMBN. His last words after spotting a German tank on the other side of a hedgerow.

The general consensus is that it's silly.
"Pilots do not get paid for what they do daily, but they get paid for what they are capable of doing.
However, if pilots would need to do daily what they are capable of doing, nobody would dare to fly anymore."

Adds nothing but an a-historical mob to annoy you
"A government large enough to give you everything you want is strong enough to take everything you have."--Thomas Jefferson

Greybriar

I own Crusader Kings II and nearly all its DLC. I never purchased Sunset Invasion due to the reasons mentioned above.
Regardless of how good a PC game may be it will always have its detractors and no matter how bad a PC game may be it will always have its fans.

Kushan

As the other have already said, your better of spending your money on the other DLC's.
PanzersEast: Have to think to myself.... will I play the first one by the Winter Sale?  Probably not, then I should remove Dragonfall
PanzersEast: but that is thinking too logically.... and Steam Sales are about ignoring Logic

Most of us found the idea too stupid/ridiculous to ever be tempted to get it.

I only got it because of the all-in-one (CK1 and 2 with all DLC) package for very cheap (10$), amazon had going a few days or weeks ago. But I'm not gonna activate the checkbox for that one.

I fail to see the point of this expansion.

As have just about all of us here.  In fact, from what I've seen, Sunset Invasion was met with scorn just about everywhere outside of the Paradox forums.  Sounds like the devs allowed themselves to be carried away by a few enthusiastic fans who waxed eloquently on the notion.
