Sorry 'geek!  Paradox's track record speaks for itself, however. 

Not that EU4 won't be good; I suspect it will, in fact, be quite decent and fun to play at release.  But given Paradox's development history over the last decade, it's clear that the smart money is to simply wait until they've announced EU5, as the entire EU4 title will then be cheap to pick up (and include all expansions).  ;)

i usually find as long as its not a game breaker i hardly notice - im an avid gamer but i do it to relax as a hobby, im not one to sit there and think 'im damn sure the fur on those Kingly robes should be grey/white and not white/grey - THIS GAME IS BROKEN!!!!!!'

Yep, CKII was terrific right from release.

Read through all of the dev diaries that have popped up so far. I'm definitely intrigued. The new power system sounds interesting, and like a much better way of managing a whole lot of subsystems a lot more simply.
