Never really had a problem with fonts, yes I do wear glasses, two pairs, one for long range and one for short. The only thing I ever noticed is sometimes I can not tell a 4 from a 1 in the credit amounts in the NE corner of the screen. I started on a 1024x768 but am now on 1440x900, the 1024x768 is now my second monitor in a dual setup and I find things quite legible, easiest thing to say is if you feel you may have problems ask on the forums for some screen shots with the data screens in view in your native screen res, download them and then view them full screen on your monitor and see what they look like.

I've personally never had a problem with the font size either.  My concern is for those who *do*, as many of them (understandably) don't feel inclined to pick up further expansions...or in many cases, simply not get the game in the first place.  And that's a shame.

It helps to be able to resize the left info panel. But the fonts still are a little small.
