Yep. It's the "everyone gets a trophy" plan. Kids no longer experience failure at a young age in either school or sports; therefore, they never learn how to deal with failure. So when they get a bit older, and they don't get a trophy when they lose, they have trouble dealing with it and deflect.

One of the most important things you learn playing youth sports is how to deal with losing and adversity, eapecially as part of a team. If no one loses then there is no need to learn how to deal with team adversity.

Hmmm...you guys are all over the map with this.  Is it the Internet?  Is it PC (whatever that is...anything anyone doesn't like?)?  Is it education (and that could be anything)?  Or (as seems likely to me), these people haven't played many games with real teams and real people on real playing fields.  I think it amounts to bad sportsmanship caused by not having played enough sports.  So it is the internet in the sense that many internet interactions are socially absurd.  But it is also a lack of playing real sports as suggested above.

Or to put it another way: there are all kinds of annoying social behaviors, but bad sportsmanship is caused pretty directly by not playing enough real sports.

Very true. Internet "social behaviour" and "interactions" (if they can be referred as such) can be a whole different ball game from REAL life competition. 

Hearing those kind of gripes ("my team sucks", "my team are bunch of rookies", "my team is full or retards", etc) can be discouraging when playing online. I don't wan't to bash the younger generations (Y and Z), but i believe those gripes are commonly found (if not exclusively) wherever they swim around in the internet. Very disrespectful.

And, War Thunder is a great game.  World of Warplanes can't even come close IMHO.

I, too, have noticed the complaining subsides once you're in higher level matches.  You certainly get used to the occasional mid-air collision when playing 'chicken' with someone in a head-on gunfight.  It's not like you can't respawn in the same match a few times. 

What's always ridiculously amazing is that the players who are bitching about their team sucking are usually the ones who rush off by themselves right from the start and get killed, so you end up having to listen to the crybabies whining the whole game.  Just make sure you point out that they're the one who died in a fireball of stupidity as fast as they could - they often shaddap after that.  I see that kind of Die & Bitch behavior in WOT the most, probably.

However, lots of people seem to see the Internet as some sort of free pass to idiocy.  To them the Internet is an anonymous idiot playground.

  It may sometimes be a bit more complex than that.  I'm not sure because I've stopped playing online because once I'm on a team, I will spend way too much time trying to get them to do okay.  Which is rewarding but takes too much time.

  It's possible that at least some of the "My team sucks!" people are trying hard for their teams and reaching a breaking point.  Now if they were me, they would reach that point and politely say "Good game" log off and swear never to play online again.

   But there I go again, making excuses for an imaginary team.  I have to stop.  Good game!
