I fully appreciate Obama not wanting to make the war bigger, leading NATO against what might be a limited war. Unfortunately his desire to be mr nice guy has a big culture clash with Gollum. "I wants it!" will be the phrase over and over as long as nobody is smashing his toy soldiers. To the Russian mindset he is weak and should be walked over. Maggie is rolling in her grave. I seriously hope Obama is making sure there is plenty of evidence to justify the ass kicking to come. If that is not his aim he should step down. If it seems nasty now wait until you have to ask him to give back several countries. At that point he will be "say goodby to x hundred cities. Now piss off." The world will be a very different place.

I think after six years he's starting to realize that no matter how hard he tries to be nice to them, they still want to kill us. Having figured that out, he sounds like he's prepared to do what's necessary.

I still dont see anyone here actually advocating that we send troops to the Ukraine and start a shooting war with Russia?  So what else does that leave other than people on the sidelines trying to get us dragged into this mess.  Its easy to say yes to using force after all that got us two gulf wars and look how well those turned out....much harder and wiser to say no
