Watch the latest episode last night.....

I am totally hooked.
My doctor wrote me a prescription for daily sex.

My wife insists that it says dyslexia but what does she know.

I thought that the most recent episode was the most boring of the franchise to date.

I've only seen a few episdoes (don't ask how that even happened!), but I have to admit that so far I like them a hell of a lot better than the books.  It might very well be one of the rare cases where a story on the screen is actually better than on paper. 

Tyrion is still my favorite character, of course.  I think they might have actually made him a little *too* awesome on the show, but then I understand he's become the audience's darling, so I guess I can't entirely blame the producers.

Heh, I've been afraid to admit to the same for fear of being called a heretic.  I think the TV series is far better than the books, which I found to be very dry and full of padding.  I'm glad it's being made by HBO though; nobody else could have done it justice.

Also, the show -- to be perfectly frank -- makes a lot of the characters more colorful and less despicable/stupid/obnoxious than they are in the books.  I'm finding it difficult to maintain the same level of hate/contempt for the TV cast that I did for their page-bound counterparts. 

Of course, if Martin isn't doing most/any of the writing for the show, that alone would explain its massive improvement in quality.  ;D

I have not seen the most recent episode yet. I saw the one from a week ago, and thought it was great. I am waiting for something really awful to happen to Joffrey and thought it was going to happen. The longer we wait, the more terrible his end will be.

I have to say the only thing I find cheesy about the show is the little dragon. I hope he grows up and sheds the cheese.

He does, as do the other dragons.

I predict that the Mother of Dragons will eventually rule Westeros, with either Jon Snow or Tyrion Lannister at her side.
