oh it will get worse longblade.
All over Europe people are getting fed up with the mass migration of backwater, uneducated people from the middle East.
Sweden will be one of the first to experience civil war, once the political elite has brought in enough islamic which will probably happen relatively soon.
In a country with 9 mill swedes, they for some reason choose to import 100.000 muslims from Northern africa and middle East a year.

I wonder where the French have developed these new cajones...maybe its because France itself, particularly the larger cities, now contain 100s of 1000s of Muslims and they are taking their aggression out overseas instead of bombing Marseilles.
From what Sauron tells me France is a tinderbox of anti-muslim tension. He's expecting civil war. It's no accident that the Front National got 25% of the vote in the last election. Sauron's said that the government have played down the terrorist planning to attack the Bastille day parade - hes' the one who killed the Jews in Belgium and wanted to be extradited to France in the hope of being exonerated by their Minister of Justice - Mme Taubira, who has got a lot of flak for excusing the attacks on white French women by Maghrebians - as the French call them.

Perhaps France will be the next battleground.  That will be ugly.

So what's the end game with ISIS?  Are "we" (as in western democracies) content to drive them out of Iraq?  Are we ok with a 2-3 state solution for Iraq?  Or is the goal to obliterate ISIS and communicate the message that a fundamentalist caliphate will not be tolerated?

Earlier someone mentioned Turkish silence on the recent events.  I would suspect that is connected to the Peshmerga.  The Turks probably view a vibrant Peshmerga as a threat that is tantamount to ISIS.

I see on Wikipedia that ISIS goes by ISIL, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.  THAT really concerns me.  Let's take a look at a map of the Levant:

Anyone else see some serious issues with the size and scope of the territory associated with the Levant?

A co-worker made an interesting observation.  That due to frustration over Ukraine, the US will send the Russians a message via Syria.  See that ISIS is eradicated and that the other Syrian rebels become dominant and then overthrow the Assad regime- as a "F-you" to Russia.

Could be interesting to see if that theory/scenario plays out.

QuotePENTAGON DEPLOYS 3RD ADVISER DIVISION TO IRAQ

FORT STEWART, Ga. — A force of approximately 25,000 advisers from the U.S. Army's 3rd Adviser Division is heading to Iraq to not participate in direct ground combat of any kind, the Pentagon announced Thursday.

"Make no mistake, we are in full-on advisement against ISIL in the same way we continue to advise countries against al Qaeda and its affiliates," Pentagon spokesman Rear Adm. John Kirby said at a press conference, using an acronym for the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.

While noting the division was comprised mostly of combat troops from its former unit name of 3rd Infantry Division, Kirby cautioned that using this re-structured unit would not lead to advisement-creep.

"It's made up of three Brigade Advisor Teams (BAT). Among these are a mixture of various adviser types including Infantry Advisers, Armor Advisers, Artillery Advisers and Attack Aviation Advisers," Kirby said.

Sources confirmed the new unit was formed after Pentagon leaders realized direct ground combat and trying to impose U.S. will on the enemy had negative effects, and it was better to advise them into submission.

"Geneva conventions do not specifically limit any type of advice, allowing the new 3rd Adviser Division to utilize the Vietnam-era M2 Advice-throwers," Kirby said, also noting the deployment of the M1A1 Armored Humanitarian Relief Vehicle and the F-16 Fighting Advisory Falcon.

Although the Pentagon officially declined to give much detail as to what types of advice would be used, sources told Duffel Blog the troops will be authorized to engage with 5.56mm and 7.62mm advice whenever necessary. In some instances and with higher authority, the division could use 105mm and 155mm advice, along with 500lb Joint Direct Advice Munitions.

25,000 is a good start. I'd rather see 100, 000. Then we march to the Med.
