Biggest hump is remapping all those damn keys again.  The default layout sucks.

This has become a common occurrence lately, with my Sim updates.  Gotta do the same with ROF and IL-2:BOS.  >:(    Pretty sure I've saved the key map backups somewhere for all three but dunno how many will work properly.  I'm assuming the SB Pro one will (if I can find it).

Here you go... How to use the key assignments in SB Pro. Importing and exporting. Let me know if i can help in anyway :)

Thanks.  I didn't know where it was saved so that should save some digging.  Hopefully still there.

All the ones I changed worked just fine except the command that would reset the Challenger's sight when it gets stuck out of view.  Despite switching all the gunner handle command to something different, that one effect was still hard-coded to the default ('P' IIRC).

It is NOT hardcoded. You can change it.

In the "Controls" menu
Select "Filter Commands" on the right hand side. Filter to the CR2. Change it there for the specific vehicle

Service Improvement for SB Pro PE Customers
Posted by Ssnake on Feb 18th, 2015 in Announcements
http://www.esimgames.com/?p=1791

From today on,  eSim Games provides customers of the Personal Edition who ordered a classic license with a CodeMeter USB stick a complimentary time-based license that can be activated first to bridge the shipping time until the CodeMeter stick arrives by mail. This is provided at no extra cost, and gets automatically added to your cart when ordering a classic license.

Download SB Pro PE immediately from our website. After installing it, activate the first half of the license ticket and choose to bind the time-based license to your virtual CodeMeter container ("CmACT").

After the stick arrives by mail, visit the license ticket a second time and activate the permanent license; this time, choose the CodeMeter USB stick for the license binding.

So no more waiting on the Dongle to arrive before you can play.
Good move eSim

Combat Procedure Trainer Leopard 2
Posted by Ssnake on Feb 13th, 2015 in Featured

http://www.esimgames.com/?p=1705

The GeSim Leopard 2 (combat procedure trainer) has received its lifetime extension. The Austrian Bundesheer has accepted the final delivery and resumes the training of its tank companies at the Combat School in Zwölfaxing near Vienna. The combat procedure trainer was originally manufactured in Germany in 1993, and later sold to Austria along with the Leopard 2A4 main battle tank.

Steel Beasts Professional was chosen as the desired simulation software for a variety of reasons, among them the flexibility to connect the combat procedure trainer with the larger classroom network in a nearby building to embed the  platoon level simulator cabins in the tactical context of company team and even battalion scale exercises. As such, it now supports the inclusion of desktop trainer stations simulating other Austrian vehicles such as the Ulan IFV, or the LMV with its remote weapon station.

The lifetime extension of the GeSim is the result of a collaborative effort where Diehl BGT Defence of Röthenbach, Germany took responsibility for the hardware part – replacement of obsolete electronic components, interfacing with control instruments, and expanding the simulator's capability with the addition of extra sights and instruments.

Does that mean new toys for us in a coming update?
