I've ended up playing some SWTOR with my Sith Assassin.  It's been very therapeutic.

With the announcement of Eugens upcoming Act of Aggression, I've been playing Act of War: High Treason.

Fun game, but very difficult

This weekend I am going to have a serious go at The Witcher (it has been ages since I played an RPG) and continue practicing my biplane piloting skills with Rise of Flight.

  On a similar note, I'll be doing some flying (of a sort) in DCS world.  Also the usual: WitpAE PBEM and Hoplite (board game).  Other possibilities include: Civil war II and Heroes and Generals.

  This is pretty much what happened.  the only surprise in a rather austere week-end of rather austere gaming was that I got BoS and had a blast in the quickmissions in the LaGG3-29 mostly.  I find all the planes very convincing -- perhaps because I flew them occasionally in the original IL-2 -- they seem kind of familiar, but wildly improved.  I love the cannon + 50 cal in the nose of the LaGG3.  Such a satisfying clump of firepower.  I don't get the theory of the Yak and the La5 yet -- they don't seem to have the wonderfully clutzy punch of the LaGG3.  But I'll learn, I  hope.

I only got the final game of Season Two partially written up; between work and traveling around I didn't get much done Saturday, and one of my favorite uncles died unexpectedly early Sunday morning so... lots of distractions this weekend.  :)

Thanks.  :) I take death pretty well, though, and his wife and at least one of the girls seems to be doing okay. Haven't been around the other one enough yet to get an idea how she's doing.

Thx guys, funeral's today. We haven't had much typical West Tennessee summer weather this year (hot and humid), but I guess having some today is better than thunderstorms (the other typical WT summer weather). ;)

I get to be one of the pallbearers, which is always something I appreciate being asked to do as I regard it as a great honor.  :)
