^I think a few here have played PBEM and IIRC yes, they are auto-resolved.

Well the wording in that linked announcement is slightly ambiguous. It sounds like Linux/Mac support will roll out in "a couple of weeks", but they might be referring to a beta release. Either way, I'm pretty hopeful that I'll be able to play very soon. :)

(Note for anyone wondering - yes, I am on record as saying that AoW3 was disappointing for me. I stand by that and still think AoW:SM is the definitive version. However turn-based fantasy 4X is severely underrepresented on Linux and I'll take what I can get for now. ;))
