In the Black Forest of Germany, there lived an old clockmaker.  He had made and repaired clocks for all of his life and his reputation was outstanding.
One day one of the famous Krupp family came to his shop.  He had a very ancient, beautiful clock.  When it struck the hours, windows on the front opened, figures smiled out of them and ducked away.
The watchmaker was impressed and asked how he could be of help.
"Ach.  The clock is vonderful, but is flawed.  Instead of going tick-tock, tick-tock, it only goes tick-tick-tick.  Can you save it, Herr Clockmaker?"
"Ach so.  This is simple, leave it mit mir tonight and by morning it vill sound correctly."
The overjoyed factory owner left and the clockmaker took the errant timepiece down to his basement.  There he set up tools next to the clock.  Sharp tools.  And he lit a bunsen burner.
Then he stared at the clock and said, "Ve haf vays to make you...tock."
"Most gods throw dice, but Fate plays chess, and you don't find out until too late that he's been playing with two queens all along".  Terry Pratchett.

During filming of Airplane, Leslie Nielsen used a whoopee cushion to keep the cast off-balance. Hays said that Nielsen "played that thing like a maestro"

Tallulah Bankhead: "I'll come and make love to you at five o'clock. If I'm late, start without me."

"When all other trusts fail, turn to Flashman." — Abraham Lincoln.

"I have enjoyed very warm relations with my two husbands."
"With your eyes closed?"
"That helped."  Lauren Bacall

Master Chiefs are sneaky, dastardly, and snarky miscreants who thrive on the tears of Ensigns and belly dancers.   Admiral Gerry Bogan.

Excellent!
All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

I, for one, find potato puns apeeling.

MD, don't skin us alive for that.

Taters gonna tate, and all that.

Airborne Rifles

Maybe we should try to understand how irri-Tate-ing this is for MD.

bayonetbrant

just keep an eye out to make sure you don't make a hash of all the puns

Jarhead - Yeah. You're probably right.

Gus - I use sweatpants with flannel shorts to soak up my crotch sweat.

Banzai Cat - There is no "partial credit" in grammar. Like anal sex. It's either in, or it's not.

Mirth - We learned long ago that they key isn't to outrun Star, it's to outrun Gus.

Martok - I don't know if it's possible to have an "anti-boner"...but I now have one.

Gus - Celery is vile and has no reason to exist. Like underwear on Star.

these puns have got to be gratin on MD's nerves

I yam pretty sure by night he'll be shading us. He'd rake us like the ponces we are, for days an' days.

But I'd'a hope my more subtle visual pun, chipped in, would be acceptable to peruse.

At the great grog meeting where we all get together I know I'm going to enter the room and just find MD standing on a pile of all your bodies

I will hug him and we will drink
