There are reports of gunshots in a Canadian Parliament building with the shooter on the loose.  What is going on in Canada?

Just watching this live as it unfolds.

One soldier at our National War Memorial in the middle of Ottawa was shot by a man carrying a rifle. The shooter then ran towards Parliament Hill which is about a 2 minute walk from the Memorial.

Unconfirmed reports of shot fire on the Hill and about a second gun man.

Soldier's condition unknown, he was taken to hospital, didn't look good from TV footage.....

Elizabeth May, a Member of Parliament, just tweeted that she heard shots in the center block and think police have shot one gunman there.

More shots heard at the Chateau Laurier, very large famous hotel right next to the Hill.

Police say the shooter is on roof of building at Metcalfe and Sparks 1 block from Parliament Hill.
