Got my Warfighter and first expansion in yesterday.

Also got my new joystick and rudders though, so I've been too distracted to get far into the Warfighter rules just yet.

Looks great. Shame the play board isn't mounted, but no biggie...I will buy a perspex cover for it anyway.

Meant to say - I now have 22 bullet dice!!!  :o

4 came with the game itself, 6 came as the 4th Expansion and each of the other 3 expansions came with 4 die each.

If you are short on Stock Dan and need any back, I'm pretty sure I don't need 22 dice  ;D

I haven't tried, but are the bullet dice actually balanced?

^I think they are, though I roll them in the box top. If they fit into a dice boot that would be great. I don't own a dice boot but one shaped like an ammo clip or something similar would be a pretty awesome accessory for this game.

I finished one game this weekend and started another.

The first game I lost and was part of the AAR I was doing, however it was my first game so I decided to go ahead and finish it.  In the end I got bogged down on my way to the objective and I ran out of time after reaching it. 

I am currently playing in the Jungle with Covert and VIP meeting... so far it is going a lot better as I have chosen my load outs a little more wisely.

The bullet die are nice, but on a good flat surface they will roll forever.... so be mindful of that.

This system is very well thought out and is very fun to play.... it can get out of hand on your quickly as you do reinforcement checks.. and my first game I had a suicide bomber show up and run my progress.

With the expansions there are a ton of options to be had and I can see a lot more expansions to the game as the system lends itself to it. So far my initial impressions are two thumbs up and after owning all of the FC and Leader series games, this is via-ing to becoming my favorite. I'll write more after I finish my current game.

Yes I did. I wish I could roll all them when I shot at the enemy  :D  mine seem to  be vexed.  I wish there was an option to roll extra dice and called "Emptying the clip" at the enemy... no mater what the roll is I empty my clip on them. (could be an house rule.)


Overall I am pleased with the game and the components as I would have like amounted board, however I just see it as extra because it is not needed.  I also thought the figures where just an extra and are just ok, but a bonus.  Cards are very good quality and overall this is a great game and hoping Nimitz keeps the ball rolling.

I thought I read a rule in there where you can shoot once, fire a burst, or go full auto?

I've yet to play but will soon. My son actually showed interest too - he enjoys the CoD games so that's probably why.

You can, depending on the gun you use you can do a single shot, or full auto or burst.... however you unless you roll low enough you will not expend our clip.
