Nefaro, its the Deep Dish tray by DVG
http://www.dvg.com/.sc/ms/dd/ee/63/Deep%20Dish%20Counter%20Trays
(bought here: http://ugg2nd.de/de/Nach-Hersteller/Dan-Verssen-Games-ugg/Deep-Dish-Countertrays.html)

they are 8.5" x 11" and 7/8" deep
and the tray fits good into a DVG games box, here is my TAL example

Nope.  I'm talking about the round dice tray in bottom center of your earlier pic, still in the box.   The one you roll dice in.   That one looks smaller than the two I have, and I plan on getting a smaller one sometime but haven't found any boxed ones of a similarly smaller size for sale around here.

I have a stack of 'Deep Dish' DVG counter trays sitting on a shelf not far from my head right now.  Quite familiar with those.  ;)

Sorry, my fault
the dice tray is this one by Philos  (Dice Tray  - Product No. 3121)
http://philos.quasarshop.de/Detail.asp?ARNR=3121&AG1=WUE&AG=WUE&ID=WUE&ALID=WUE&Lang=E

diameter is 22 cm and rolling-area diameter is about 17,5 cm and two wooden D6 dices came with the tray
(and you see 5 easy to read replacement dices i got me for Warfighter)

... i had wandered through the halls looking for a nice small dice tray or a dice tower (in anticipation of the bullet dices working not all to well) like the one SingleHandedWarfare reviewed on YT  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqjR0tw7_YY  once  ...and i stumbled about it at some booth in Halle2  but i don't remember the booth ID number

Nefaro

Thanks for the pic.

That looks like the perfect size!

Mine are about 50% wider.  Love them but they take up a bit more space than I'd like.

here my first experimental setup just with the base game  :D

Player-Giacomelli, NPS-Samaniego and Squad-Corona are tasked with a Covert Action against a Cartel Boss

(37 Resource points to spend. Not much wiggling room for Giacomelli-loadout, if i want to use all 3 sorts of soldier cards and also like to have explosives  in the mix ...so i happen to encounter/use/learn all the rules involved)

somewhere in the middle

i had run out of time  (and daylight) not in the mission but in RL ...so i had to take a break in the middle of the soldier turn phase

(Corona had just spend an action to  activated the Objective, hostile cards where drawn ...counter still has to be removed ..the event card 'Locals', demand 2 XP tokens or i have to close in on the target, while i had plans for stand-off ...when it came to me i totally had forgotten to dish those XP  out last turn ...)

i like it so far  O0
it surly has that DVG solitaire game / Leader series-trait: "Oh, What to do with my precious resource points, the load-out, the planning for the mission ...and when the shit hits the fan, its all different and you have to adjust and hopfully had planed for eventualities"

well my baptism of fire Warfighter game was a little hindered by still not euf shuffling of the action deck -even so i took some serious effort before-  ...and memorizing the rules, so checking them up again now and then...and again... and simple mixing up things, and the usual 'little insecurity' about rules and doing it right ...forgot to give experience points first, but was able to reconstruct the distribution from the 'used cards' hostile deck a turn later
... i have to watch some more of the lets play vids again  ;)

Money worth spend  :)

PS: Warfighter  #wave3 - suggestion:  Vassal Module (with everything in it) Please !

Very cool Mike! I'm waiting on my copy. USPS tracking tells me it's in transit to the Great White North... so I wait.... :D

Arctic Blast

Well, I ordered everything from NWS as well. I'm sure it's going to take a weekend to get everything sorted out once it arrives.  >:D

Barthheart

So far mine's in Montreal in customs.... hope it gets here for the weekend....  :knuppel2:

DVG sent me a copy of their Warfighter Footlocker as well as four Warfighter (their Warfighter, Brant ;) ) expansions...Russian Federation, United Kingdom, Speedball!, and Eastern Europe. I'm going to do an unboxing article, possibly a full review of everything also, in the near future.

BanzaiCat

^ Yes I do. I've made mention before about how horrible the rule book is.

So... re-write it.  ;)

Have you seen version 2 of the manual? Is it any better? I've read version 2 and it seems like standard DVG fare... which is not that bad....

BanzaiCat

I actually started to do just that some time ago. It's been so long though I don't remember where I was at, so I'd have to start from scratch again.

it had time to pick up my session from above

...and Warfighter really tells a action movie story. a story that, can even have some funny moments involved
here is how i plan to solved the puzzle.

Giacomelli, Samaniego, Corona are still on the trail
Corona had just waxed a smuggler also on the trail, Giacomelli suppressed a second one ...there will be no responce from those suckers this hostile turn,  Samaniego took his time to reload his suppressed MP5 and used the rest of his time and his exceptional medic skills to successfull treat one of the two separate class1 wounds Giacomelli was suffering from.

now will come the hostile turn:
some new tangos may or may not show up on the trail (the 0-1 reinforcement draw)
the drug runners screening the boss at the objective all have range zero, they got so exited by hearing the shooting that -go figure - all four of them close in on the trail to intercept my raiding party, ...but so also stupidly exposing their boss:-)  (there is no reinforcement draw at that location, because i have no soldier in the objective)
and i will have to brave not one single shot in the trail...now

then it will be my turn again
i joyfull pay the two XP points to negate the 'Locals'-card and are now allowed the ranged attack
then i will have 6 actions left to take out that boss and he has to do go down with two kills ...to be sure;-)
first Giacomellii will lob two times a 40 mm grenade in the objective from his M203 , Corona can shoot twice, and Samaniego - a range zero guy - needs one action to close in and has one burst lesft. but because its his first attack in this turn it will be a stealth one and so no roll for penetration

If the boss is down the mission ends immediately, with a win  (i don't have to reslove the hostile turn, correct?)

Well, if they f#*& -up there will be 1 unspuressed Smuggler and 4 drug runners on the trail, and possible a reinforcement  two times, and one possible reinforcement in the objective also ... so my three guys better aim well!  ;)

Still waiting for mine to ship. Good thing I'm patient... :knuppel2: ;D

I have half a mind to create fictional soldiers for this game, like Delta Force Chuck Norris, Rambo Sly Stallone, Commando Arnold Schwartzenegger, Red Scorpion Dolph Lundgren, and so on. But of course, at a relatively astronomical point cost.
