I never did like the WASD method of movement. If a game did not permit remapping the keys or using the arrow keys, I simply wouldn't buy it.

Heh.

I was like that... in 1999. 

Then all the action-y games started adding more hotkey'd abilities that we would need to use quickly, in the heat of digital battle, and I made myself switch to WASD from the cursor keys.

Glad I relearned it back then, because it's so easier, and more sensible too since I don't have to keep my off-hand (left) reaching across the keyboard the whole time. 

I suggest developers were wrong, long ago, to get us right-handers in that habit of using the cursor keys to move.   :P

I was too old in 1999 to change my ways and I'm still too old in 2015. But most games that I play don't need the keyboard to move the character I'm playing--just click on where I want to go.  ::)
