A Nord.  Tieg Jarlsson is my name.  Haven't decided yet what I am going to specialize as.  Concentrating on fighter stuff now.

Finally, I've found the mod I've always been looking for: The Khartoum and Zulu mod for Napoleon: Total War. I am in heaven!

I played the Battle of Isandlawana last night as the British, and got totally rocked by the Zulu horde. I found the outcome to be historically accurate!

And yes, I was in High School still, too.

Ack!  Yes!  Skyrim was a lot of fun.  But what am I doing these days?  It looks like WitpAE PBEM (Allied air is starting to do some serious damage to the Japs occasionally) -- and maybe CMANO (editing submarines into some scenarios) and Red Orchestra 2 (I miss the Mosin-Nagant) and maybe some Wrath of Sparta and so on.

My gaming resolution this year is to join a regular gaming group of some kind.  I'm tired of playing with myself, as it were.  :)

I have enough games, but I would like to pick up Steel Beasts Pro if I can save enough pennies.

My resolution is to sit down, learn and play War in the West. I dropped the cash for that big ol' hardcover manual so I need to dive in

OK.  So, I spent the $5 on Skyrim.  Just to see what I purchased, and to say that I gave it a shot, I loaded it up.  Now, two hours does not a game make, but, it looks like I may have found something here.  I'll let you know.  Going back in now.

:-) Told ya!

Slick where did you download the mod from? Last time I checked it was not available over at TWC.

My new gaming resolution will be 1920x1080...Actually it will be pretty much like everyone else's:  learn to play the games I have before buying anything new

Yeah, the links on TWC were really cornfusing, but ultimately I found one torrent site that works.

I had to install the bitcomet torrent client first, though. But once I did that, it was easy peasy. The install instructions are not 100% accurate. Everything was straight-forward with the exception of where the user.script.txt goes. The correct place is C:\Users\John\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Napoleon\scripts. You would, of course, substitute the "John" part of the path for whatever you called your user.

I bet that leaves you wondering whether my name is John, or I am a John. Who knows....maybe both!  :smiley6600:

^Thanks man. I played through that campaign years ago and loved it and made the mistake of uninstalling it.

I'm pretty sure that if you asked any one here what your name was, they'd say Borat.  I know I would ;)

I'm replaying Avernum: Escape from the Pit.  Spiderweb is planning to release the 2nd game in the saga this quarter.
