I thought The Bachelor was Star's code name for himself.

I thought it was "Z-pack."

And here we go Again. The Greek minister of Justice wants to seize all German property in Greece unless Germany pays war damage from WW2 :idiot2:

I must say that the germans are remarkably restrained in this matter. Personally I would have told them to fuck off, long time ago.

Gusington

How much German property is there in Greece?

Enough to make this kinda a big deal.

This current Greek administration forgets the fact that Germany already paid back millions of deutschmarks back in the 50-60's for whatever happened.  The Greeks maintained that they expected that to be an initial payment (!) and were waiting for the rest after German unification...   :idiot2:

Germany made good on war reparations in Europe and to Holocaust victims families over the decades.  Considering that against that Japan's record in the Pacific (another story), Greece should consider that debt as paid and move on like the rest of Europe.   They play this card every time they are in the crapper.  They truly give the Diaspora around the world a bad name.

Ive decided to boycott gyros.

I think the problem with that is it's all local ingredients, not much from Greece, so you'd be hurting our own economy.  You're better off not to purchase actual imports (e.g. Greek olive oil, if that's your aim, or feta cheese etc)

I think it was suggested earlier in this thread about threatening to pull NATO out of Cyprus.  That might be a nice little counter to any threats of seizing properties.

All smells like ARMA 3.

Hmmm. I like gyros. Maybe I'll make an exception if they're made from American beef. Or lamb. Or whatever (delicious) mystery meat it is.
