Banzai Cat - There is no "partial credit" in grammar. Like anal sex. It's either in, or it's not.

Mirth - We learned long ago that they key isn't to outrun Star, it's to outrun Gus.

Martok - I don't know if it's possible to have an "anti-boner"...but I now have one.

Gus - Celery is vile and has no reason to exist. Like underwear on Star.

I read a story earlier today that some of the Trek community was up in arms because Shatner was at a big fundraiser in Florida for the Red Cross and chose to stay there and help the charity rather than cancel and fly back for Nimoy's funeral.

Sheesh. Everyone grieves in different ways. Can't we reserve just a bit of judgment on this?

If I was in his shoes I wouldnt have gone.  to do so makes it something else that may not be what the family wants.  it shouldnt be a trek funeral after all.

Seems to me Shatner was in a tough spot - he leaves the charity in the lurch and looks bad, or he misses the funeral and looks bad. Some folks just can't see the good I suppose.

As it was quoted in a great Trek film:  "the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few".   He's helping an event which will help raise money for a charitable cause.  It's possible there wasn't a flight available that night.  I think for those who complain about his choice, he said it best years ago "Get a life".

Reading some headlines today, it looks like he did make it LA after all.
