^Bear in mind that Blue Oyster Cult has always been a more 'theatrical' take on Rock&Roll and Heavy Metal. Author Michael Moorcock even contributed to at least one (if not more) of their albums.

Didn't one of the rovers already discover ice crystals under the surface (as predicted) awhile back?

I realize finding it in liquid form is a bit different, considering the temperature. But it's just a question of how deep they would find it in liquid form, at that point, right?

It's also rather frustrating, considering there might be more significant deposits further down. Without the ability to really dig deeply into the Marian soil, we're just not going to know until an all-out effort is made.

Then there's Europa as well. but the ESA's JUICE and NASA's Europa Clipper aren't launching until 2022 and the mid 2020s, respectively.
