I'd never heard of Leslie Jones before, but after seeing her in this trailer, I see her in a lot of places now. She annoys the crap out of me, and I don't think that's HER fault necessarily - I think it's the ghettoized caricature she's portraying in this reboot. I've met a lot of actors here locally that are absolute a-holes but are a pleasure to work with when you're rehearsing/acting.

But Leslie's caricature is just one of many sad notes in this overall symphony of depression and agony called 'Ghostbusters (2016).'

Not sure if this was posted or not. This is a rather articulate and engaging bit about why the reboot is going to suck. It's 10 months old, this post, but it still pretty well wraps up the sting of Feig and his utter lack of sense.

I happen to completely agree with the OP, there. Wig is pretty good, McCarthy is indeed a cheap female rip off of Chris Farley, and the other two are just plain bad actors. And Sony can suck a hog if they're really redoing Jumanji, too.

I'm sure it will be okay. It's too bad they had to brand it Ghostbusters. That's almost impossible to live up to. And honestly it's unnecessary. Recipe for failure.
